Hi, had my DM800 when they first came out, been great so far had a hard drive installed inside. Now i have had problems with some sats, i have a switch with 1deg 13deg and 19deg and a cable from my sly dish to the switch. I have 13 and 28 but no 1deg , does Thor take more power to recieve which makes me think the tuner is faulty, also i lost my display on the box took the hard drive out and tapped a few bits and now the display is working but still no 1deg. It takes a little longer to pick up 13 and 28 up also. I also scanned this thread and someone had a problem with their power supply. So so far i have changed my switch shall i go for a new power supply or tuner and which one. Thanks in advance

If the switch is accessible try taking it out of the circuit and just connect the 1W LNB to the receiver (you can get F adapters that are female to female).

Then try 1W standalone. That will test the 1W cable and LNB.

BTW do this when there is very little cloud as you can get loss of signal when there is thick upper level cloud.
