Hello.

Just curious m8s,and I am not going mad, well I hope not, I use my Sly dish for two reasons!

one cable from dish is too supply my spider down stairs and the other too supply my Eagle mini in the

bedroom, hope that is clear too everyone...... only just recently I have noticed that I cannot get certain

channels on either.......Is this the reason because I am splitting the signal that I am not getting some

channels?....dont get me wrong I would not change the set up because it suits me.....just being curious

look forward to some replies.....thanks....TJ1

you should not be splitting the signal

you should have a quad lnb on the dish and have separate coaxial cables to each box , in other words each tuner gets its own separate feed from the sly lnb

obviously the lnb could be faulty (if the boxes are set up correctly to operate it using H and V voltages and the 22khz switching tone)

and all the recent changes dont help either

it may also be dependent on your location within europe too

Hello and thanks for both your replies,

Seriously though it has been working ok for well over a year, so my philosofiy is 'if its not broken, leave well alone'

What my idea was one cable was for vertical and the other horizontal, as I said i will leave well alone,I HAVE A 1.2

motorised dish anyway....thanks.....TJ1
