Yes but the OZ race was a fiasco. Shortened to 19 laps because of tyre wear worries and even then you had to stop on lap 9 or 10 to change bikes (tyres).

Several teams cocked up the timing of their pit stop (probably because live timing shows you are on lap one once the race starts) and went to lap 11 and their riders were eventually black flagged out of the race. Marques being the big loser and now has only an 18 point lead..

The whole thing should have been declared void or at the very best should only have attracted half points.

With no Oz rider the attendance was sparse but nowhere near as sparse as it will be next year.
