aspect ratio troubles

I am using BH v2.05 on my duo and have noticed that if I access the epg (or the menu) I dont get full screen , it seems to chop off the sides a bit so I dont see the full date on the top left in epg

I seem to remember on my old bh that there was a tool or method of altering the screen like you do on a pc monitor, but cannot find it in the menus or the bh plugin addons

I have tried it using hdmi lead, component lead and scart lead and am unable to alter it to give a full screen image, altering it to outputs as hdmi or component or scart having no effect

its like its in overscan and I need it to fit onscreen in its entirety

no tv controls alter it either, nor can I find the method in the BH menus that I seem to remember using when I used bh 2.01 previously

so any help from any vu BH user on what I need to do or to find or any plugins to fix it ? (the auto aspect ratio plugin has no effect either)
