can i use a usb with the vix to instead of the above im geting lost hear to much reading

usb is only used to install an image, as detailed in your other thread and answered by clipper

the solo is not simple like the spiderbox, so you will have to spend days or weeks reading to learn what needs to be done, you will also have to learn about many tools including vucc , dcc , dreamboxedit and various plugins

start by reading the "DUMMIES GUIDE"
