Login Failed!!

Since upgrading to the latest patch iks is showing login failed any ideas?? iptv works as does cline.

Unplug receiver from main and after 1min. plug it again .
For IPTV read instructions.

hi thanks for the replies however neither are similar to my issue. Ive flattened the box and started again iks,lines and wifi off then factory reset then reinstall firmware and the channel list from the page you mention.Both cline and iptv work perfectly iks however keeps showing login failed. I did leave it on before and when I went back its showed the end date so was logged in however when I changed channel it went back to login failed??

sometimes i can struggle to connect but a receiver reboot normally sorts it out, if that doesnt work, i switch IKS off, exit the menu, then on again and re-register

just tried internet sharing on phone and iks up and running so bt seem to be blocking or am i being paranoid

try setting the receiver to use google or opendns servers

Much depends on the quality of your line too. I have noticed on my 6000 that IKS is very sensitive to line quality, if there are many error seconds on the line it disconnects immediately . On the other hand the lines can show as connected for several seconds or even minutes even tho the connection is long gone. It`s only when you switch to the channel that the line should open, that the box tries to connect to it,the green dot dissapears and the number of cards turns to 0.Tried and tested on three different networks that I have here.( One wired and two wireless) One can show Login Failed and another connects immediately and holds connection. I have noticed that most of the times when Iks fails there was something wrong on line my end (can tell by the lights on the router or having a sneak peek in the router by logging into it)

You need to reconnect to your wireless network

Go to
Network Settings>
wireless>
Setting>
scan for you wireless network press ok & enter your wireless password and save

Many thanks Compass after a couple of hours I finally got the penny to drop with the help of Slow Left Arm and got the password on bottom of modem input into network which was the problem now all working and we are watching Pulp Fiction,regards Knacker

well im back to login failed tried using my phone as a hotspot same problem. ive changed dns and ive just updated to the latest patch but still im getting login failed!! any help would be appreciated!

When loading any patch ? If something stops working check the basics.
1. are you getting connected to the internet? see if utube is working?
2. check your wifi or wired or 3g connection menu? have you entered your connection password? (a or A)
3. Read the forum again for similar subjects and read STICKYS..
4. If still having problems and having read all the info? start from scratch and follow the steps?

reload previous patch does that work?

as above, if the box is working but not IKS, read my posts on the subject of the actual IKS permitted parameters about posting here
