no sound whatsoever hdmi etc

hi patched my 6000 and have recorded loads to mem stick but have just noticed no sound whatsoever from hdmi (lead is ok on 9000hd) so tried scart no sound tried optical no sound output

I am baffled set dish to 28e fta no sound volume is set to 15 on most channels I am completely stumped might have to return to sponsors , I put in three patches earliest to latest would ythis account for no sound or have I missed something

I think that he means 3 X 6000 HD firmwares:

6000_06_17
6000_08_30
6000_09_06

as was advised a couple of days for new users.

from out of box or after a factory reset between loading patchs...the sound drops to about half..(on the box itself)
on the remote turn sound up to full...

Also you can press audio button and change audio language in some cases .

thanks all patched as aldo states above turned out to be something simple volume not set to high on 6000 remote, hdmi and scart now ok but no joy with optical output have tried 2 cables lpcm/raw dolby digital front panel on av might show sterio but getting no sound output , not sure if something is amiss with av amp setting? forgot about patching voiding warrenty
