Hello,
Anyone tried the FAC.ICECRYPT.S4000HDPVR.v1.11.70. 2013Sep16.ird from the ice site?
Curious if it contains bug fixes or just new ones... ;-)

The big plus is the populating of the epg for 7 days with the programme synopsis and auto updating.
Nothing else seems to have changed.

The EPG was for my in Holland never a problem but if nothing changed it seems a bug fix release.
How about the occasional glitches with time shift?

Actually it behaves like both tuners are setup as "loop thru" instead of separate...
Anyone have a solution for this?

I just did a reset to factory defaults and setup the receiver again, everything is working OK, recording and viewing...
The I added a new user favs list and added some channels to it, after that recording and viewing at the same time not possible as tuner was set to loop thru...
This version is rubbish...

Re-scanning all satellites on tuner 1 and then on tuner 2 solves the recording issue, seems channels aren't copied to the second tuner when pressing OK.
Downfall to this image is that it crashes regular...

I just installed this firmware my box crashes a lot anyway so figured nothing to lose. Will be nice to have proper epg with synopsis. Not relishing the thought of having to scan twice it seems to take ages. Seems ok for now but a bit early to say. Will let you know how I get on.

What I've noticed is that when I've finished watching something that I recorded and want to exit the hdd, the channels are scrambled. Nothing but rebooting the box works... I use TV na kartę (Polish). It was not happening with the previous software version, which is not available now via icecrypt.com Any tips where I could find the previous software version? I think it was 1.11. something

After using this firmware for a month or so I am going back to the previous one.Have experienced the problems already mentioned also suspect network search isn't working and don't know if its picking up new channels properly I tried deleting one channel then when doing a scan I expected it to find the channel I had just deleted but it didn't. Think I will have to buy a new box not sure which one but it definitely won't be an Icecrypt. Probably a vu solo 2 when funds allow.
