screen mirroring on smart samsung tv

Hi, everyone,
I am trying to mirror my samsung Tab 3 tablet to my samsung smart tv. I can play video and picture files
and use the tablet to control the tv,but cannot mirror my tablet screen to the tv screen.

I see on youtube i may need a dongle to do this?

Has anybody done this and have any recomendations on it.

I do it on my iPad.if I want to play a video from YouTube etc via iPad it gives me the option of iPad or smart tv. It takes a while to connect sometimes and also is prone to buffering. I'm on a 60 meg fibre optic so I'm not very impressed with the pairing. I think they still have a long way to go yet.
