In the following instructions should there not be a Factory Settings before the Patch Installation:

I didnt do a factory reset before loading the patch and it worked fine :)

Even my current channel list was still installed after the patch, i obviously lost it when i Factory Reset after installing the patch though.

P.s - the current channel editor works fine in this release :)

if we load the new patch will the IPTV channels we have added ourselves disappear or the list we make stay the same?

The "goto" Button has been mapped to bring up the satellites list :bravo-009:

would be great if the "fav" Button could bring up the favorites list also instead of an individual favorite

as a matter of interest does the factory reset need to be done once or twice in a new 6000HD receiver

@chopper1, I did a FR before the patch and when finished got on screen "No Service" it wiped the whole lot off my box and even when I installed my channel list again still nothing. I then re-installed without a FR before the patch and all was OK!!!

thanks for the repllies, i know 1 factory reset is needed for this new patch but my case is different as i have had to send my receiver back as faulty, so should be getting a replacement new one, so not sure if FR is needed twice for the new receiver?

It's no matter if you do another factory reset before .

Think I've found a bug with this patch

If you press Ok then Blue, navigate your satellites, press OK then select a channel and press OK again to watch it - after that the CH up and down buttons don't work. You have to sort of reset it by pressing the EPG button, navigating to another channel through that and starting again that way - then the CH up and down work again.

Also, when using the CH up and down it doesn't seem to lock into channels as well as it did on previous patch. Either black screen and sound or the Service Scrambled stays on for longer than it used to. All reset by flicking to one channel and back.

Hope you can replicate, all this on 28.2 btw.

Or you can simply press OK go to the next channel and press ok again (No need to go to EPG). Its always been like that.
