now the main suppliers shop and forum looks like now gone it could be difficult and if the box is under guarantee then the O/P could need a bit of help on who manufactures these boxes to contact them direct to hopefully get it repaired, if any member knows the manufacturer

the correct procedure is to contact the retailer who sold the box and check if they will check it under the warranty or guarantee and check the RTB and warranty or guarantee details on the original purchase invoice too

and explain his problem and why it has'nt gone back via the
dealer who sold him the box. unless anyone knows of anouther

Might be T & C included in the warranty conditions as already stated/alluded too in post 5.

Better still buy a new one from sponsor and start all over again ( without questions/queries from OP already covered ).

Sorry don't mean to be rude but after some of your posts thought I would ask?
Have you connected to the correct port on the box with a channel list loaded on the box??

and have you checked that your sat info is correct? menu then sat settings and check that the sat's you wish to control or watch has a tick beside them? also that the motor control is set correctly?
I only ask because if you have checked all settings then there could be a short in your cable somewhere?
This happened to me with a technomate and I had to bin it. The fault did not show up on the sly box but bricked my sat box. So may be an idea to check all connections before using another box? (if you are sure you have checked all settings) good luck

Return to seller.
If not possible you are stuck with it.
The manufacturer will not touch it as its been altered with 3rd party sw and also the postage would be more than the stb is worth.
Lifes like that sometimes.
Move on and upwards.
