Don't have a Spiderbox but there is no reason why it shouldn't.
It's actually your telly that sorts the signal into the 2 separate pictures for 3d.

it opens the 3D channels anyway but I don't have a 3d TV?

Yes Spider6000HD Does Support 3D
ive tested it on my Philips 47" LED 3D HDTV
you just need a 3D Tv and your good to go
Few days ago i actually tested Spiderbox6000HD on a friends Panasonic Viera 50" LED 3D HDTV
The 3D picture looked even better than mine i must admit .
