hello all first up happy Christmas to all satpimp members and especially mods and file guys.
as far as I can recall on some film channels (c+france) in the past with my old sb9000 I could get dd5.1 via optical to my pioneer av amp.
I have connected sb 6000 up via optical to av amp if I am on a german film channel which is broadcasting a film (English dialog chosen via audio option on the sb remote) it might give eng 02 dd and state multiple lr channels, but my av only shows sterio rather than dd 5.1.
connecting my sky hd box to av (sky atlantic broadwalk empire broadcasts in dd 5.1 av amp shows dd 5.1)

I have tried a few film channels with sb 6000 but cannot get the av to show dd, have tried the native audio for whatever the film is in german /French etc but no joy.
am I missing a audio setting on the sb 6000 itself?
could someone suggest a (iks) channel I could try that does broadcast dd so I can try.
