Hd Channels. Sub titles

Why do the sub titles on the xxx hd channels automatic show sub titles on them is there anyway to remove them thanks

Perhaps they think you need to see everything in writing :D Better than Audio description I think ;)
On the serious note, try and press the subs button on the channels affected and select off . switch to any other channel and come back to the one in question, see if that helps
