I have a Tomtom Go 700 which works ok but when I go in to Tomtom Home and try to operate the Tomtom it says the maps need activated.

How can that happen and is there any way I can get the maps on Tomtom Home to be recognised. I've used an Activator but it doesn't recognise the maps.

I'm using Nav 7.903 and Western Europe Maps 675.1409.

I have previously tried to update the maps but it didn't work so I put the original maps back on again.

Any help would be appreciated.

You should be able to use this map -
https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?164495-United-Kingdom-and-Republic-of-Ireland-v920-5267-map
Read the guides on here & use one of the activation tools to patch your ttsystem file & to activate the map.

not got your tomtom but as long as you have room for the maps you can add as many as you like

just have the map folders separate , so one for uk+ire , another one for we etc etc

patch the maps with alberts easy activator , job done

they are selected in the settings map section, and will appear as a list, select the one you want to be used

nb:- you can only use one map at a time (obviously)

Cheers.

Sorry to be a pain but has anybody got a link to alberts easy activator as I don't have that one which might explain why Tomtom Home isn't recognising the maps..

Thanks
