Hi everyone,
Hope this is the right section.
Have just bought the Spiderbox 6000HD, I want to set it up with Newcamd. Is the procedure the same as my old 9000HD?
Many thanks,
Tim.

Hi
No, Adding C lines or N lines
Menu/Others/Network/Server Setup/OK/ Type to ON Right arrow to CCcam or Newcamd/Down arrow/ fill in necessary info
You can add a total of eight C or N lines which can be entered via Remote control.

Quite a lot of other differences too, need to patch before you will get the extended Menu, take a good read of the Sticky below

You can also add by usb stick

Thanks everyone for your help. I am really at sea with this one, I have patched it correctly, IKS is connected, scanned the satellites okay, but I'm blowed if I can put my Newcamd line in. In Network - server set up list, it looks the same as my 9000HD except under connect it says 00 C on the 9000 it says 1 C. Have tried writing the line onto a usb stick and it comes up as successful and reboots but still nothing, not sure what I should be writing on it though. I know its something I'm doing wrong, and I am nearly there. Getting grief off her indoors now because I have been 'hogging the telly' all weekend.
I don't want to keep pestering you guys, but can someone get me over the line?
Cheers,
Tim.

Thanks everyone, was all working, did a factory re-set and scan now it is glitching. I cant seem to put my Long, Lat in, and its showing 000.0 on both. I go to sat settings - Go to satellite - but when I try to scroll down to set location it just goes to - Go, bypassing the others, and wont go right to - set location. Bit frustrating, wish I hadn't done the reset now, but I read its best to do one before and after setting up.
Cheers,
Tim.

My mistake, don't scroll right scroll down to get - set location - Still wont let me put in my long details 0.097167 the decimal point is in the wrong place. Anyway the London option done the trick. Thank you everyone.

There's no point in specifying your location down to what would be millimeters of accuracy. One place of decimals is usually more than sufficient.

When I tried to add my N details using a USB stick it didn't work. The previous Spider 9000HD formatted the stick to FAT32. I notice the 6000HD does not have this facility, do I still have to format the USB to use it in the 6000HD?
Cheers,
Tim.
