Has the box had it?

Hi everyone, My SB 9000 HD kept rebooting on Saturday, have had a few issues with lately. It would suddenly lose sound and if I tried to change channels I would get the scrambled message. Switch it off and on, then back to normal. But on Saturday it wasn't having any of it, so I ordered the SB 6000 HD. But that Night I tried a factory re-set scanned and hey presto back to normal on 28.2e I only get only 200 channels on 13e, and just 20 on 16e a lot of channels also missing on 19e. Is this a common symptom of a failing box? I ask this because a friend wants it, now its working again.

sounds like it is failing to me, and also sounds like my old 7000 which had similar symptoms
