Dear forum,
I made the move from my S3500HDCCI to a VU Solo2 which arrived today and I need a little sanity checking on my setup if someone has the time :)
Steps taken so far -
OpenVix image was pre installed as was a channel list for 28.2
I then got MGcamd 1.35a ftp'd to temp.
Installed manually using Setup - VIX
I looked for the newcamd.list and mg_cfg files in /var/keys - not there or in /etc so I ftp'd them into /keys
Started mgcam - ok
My dish is already pointing at 28.2 so I did not do any positioning and ran a manual search - 17 channels found ??
I then did an automatic scan 976 channels found - better !
Problem now is that I can only view ahem, certain FTA channels as opposed to all the ones I had on my icecrypt.
This leads me to think that my installation of newcam.list / mg_cfg might be wrong ? Do they go manually in the /keys directory or should they be in /etc ?
In addition to this, in my EPG the channels are listed but there is no EPG info present.
I have read the dummys guid but that seems more geared to BH images.
Any help gratefuly received.
