I have a skybox f3 and I am thinking of buying a VU solo 2.

Very new to these forums .

Q1 Is the solo2 twin tuner the best value machine or should I go for the new machines available ?
Q2 Currently using a fixed dish , Is it worth investing in a motorised system.

as for quick answers

1) , no its in second place, behind the vu duo 2 , but both are great boxes , yes the solo 2 is good value for money

2) its always worth getting motorised , and having a fixed on 28.2e too (so both)
