I have a skybox f5 i assume its a clone sn:SBDHF5V130302963
It was ok until I tried to update the firmware via usb.

Now the box has crashed, it boots up until 93 and then e001 appears on front display. :banghead:

I have tried various firmware to make it boot up right but not yet found a software to match the box.

any help most welcome.

Bad news if it is a clone box no new firmware can be loaded.

these can be repaired with a clone firmware but must be done via RS232 which would require either a PC/Laptop with an RS232 connector and a null modem lead the software loader is available from either the official site or the clone ones

There is support out there but it is not the quality that you are used to on here! £ for £ stunning value. I use 2 of them. No idea whether they are clones or not but have worked faultlessly for months.

hi to all,
i've tried to upload new channel list and get stucked on load, obviously it will need to use a recovery tool. My question is if anybody know if i can use rs232 to usb as my laptop don't have rs232 connector.
Thanks for help
