My vuduo seems to have gone on a 'go slow' when scanning transponders.
It takes a long time now to complete a search.
Does anyone know why this may be happening?
I am running the latest BH image.

Scans take longer when the box finds a transponder in the satellites.xml file that has no signal. It's much faster when there is a signal on every TP. I edit my satellites.xml file to remove feed frequencies and frequencies of TPs I know I'm not going to get. That speeds the scans up a lot.

I am not convinced that is the reason for my box scanning so slowly.
It seems to be on all satellites and not just the ones with a lot of feeds.
I shall run a load of test scans on various sats to see if I can come to a theory for what's happening.
As long as my box is not about to die, I shall be happy. :)
could you not use catseyes setting list to save the scanning
my uno takes time wen I scan

It's also a fairly recent problem, so maybe something is wrong.
Since installing the BH image and using crossepg, I have been finding on most mornings that the vu has locked up and needs to be powered down and on again.
I don't know why this happens. I disabled the daily crossepg update and the box was not locked up this morning.
It is possible perhaps, that the daily lockups have corrupted something??? Perhaps I should do a fresh install of the image.
