Need help.

Any one know why when i try to put a map on my tomtom go it shows in tomtom home and on memory card but is not there when i put the tomtom on.(no maps)

ps i lost all my settings-starting from scrath with easy installer.

did you put the actual unpacked maps folder on the root of the card ?

might depend on the os on the tomtom and the version of the maps, as some maps require a later os

What version of Navcore ?
What map & version number ?
Has navcore been patched ?
Has map been activated ?

as far as i know iv patched the maps and activated them with easy activator.

Hi all,iv got my maps to load now but i get the message"activation failed,this is not the correct activation code for this product etc.
doing my head in lol

did you update the m*ta in the easy activator before activating the map ?

ie:- the first time it runs it will give you the error message similar to what you got above

then you run the EA by albert and patch the maps (once you have updated the m*ta in the tool itself)

once its patched, reboot the tomtom and try again

Yes done all that,but as you said the second reboot worked,all i need to do is put some voices on and postcodes on.
