DM8000 Gemini Image

Hi

After having Open PLi image for long time and it was a problem with keep overheating, fan stop working and freezing. i flashed with Gemini 5.1
now i have a problem which won't recognise the HDD and did all steps like such initialising still no joy. other things is having a problem to ref lash with different images via internet browser didn't work, tried with serial port cable also failed. your advice is much appreciated

Why do you need a fan in DM8000 HD? Is it a clone. I have An original DM8000 HD which doesn't come with a fan I used OpenPLi before,no overheating sometimes I could leave the box on over 12hrs.I changed to Newnigma 2 because I couldn't figure out how to install cccam in OpenPLi but I did like the image.If you could tell us how to put cccam I would go OpenPLi.

The DM8000 can have a HDD fan installed. It obviously helps keep the machine cooler and worthwhile installing the Fan Control plugin.

You could try a new image? Nemesis works quite well. Alternatively Peter Pan Aurora Dreams 3.0 is a pretty rock solid and very nice image.

Can you please tell us where to download Nemesis and Peter Pan Aurora Dreams 3.0 images and if easy to install ccCam?
