been muckin about with xbmc for a few weeks,,,,,,iv,e come to the conclusion it,s not worth the bother,,,,,,,,,,,,there is lots of streams for the the footy and other sports,,,,,,but the quality is not great ,,,,,,"buffering buffering buffering",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, if you have the patience of a saint you might find a decent quality film to watch ,other than that it is pointless for streaming online content,,,,,,,,,,maybe better suited for a modded x box and sharing media content around the home.

Yeh most of those IPTV streaming boxes are the same unless you have a sub to one of the movie companies or the country packages which are very expensive even compared to Sky packs they are not worth the outlay at present. This may change as more providers go on them and with the E.U. allowing individuals to purchase cards from anywhere in the E.U. you would imagine the big European TV providers would have latched on to this by now unless it is the dreaded rights issues again that is preventing it.:D

Same here, there are loads of excellent streams out there (free ) I haven't missed a single sports event/movie that I really wanted to watch since i got into it.
Not necessarily on xmbc, but other avenues too.. From rtmp to torrent streams there is loads of good stuff out there. Not all are spiderbox 'friendly' so I dont even bother posting them but it doesn't mean they do not exist. If you are prepared to use more than one way of watching television then there is a lot on offer.
Sooner rather than later they are going to kill off the CS, so its a good time to learn new ways..

i purchased one of those mx2 android boxes a while back ,it runs xbmc,,,,,,,,,,,which i dont use to much to be honest,,,,,navi x which is good for live sport events is going through a major server upgrade at the moment,,,,and we should see a vast improvement when it gets up and running again...............if you are into movies and tv shows,,,,,,there are a few android apps which work really well for this and leave xbmc in the rear view mirror...........a great little device if you like tv.

Navi-x is back again and much better. Movies, sport and over 18 content updated daily. Offsidestreams is good for footy but requires a small sub. Membership closed ATM.

As I only watch Films, have a small, but..fast dedicated PC for
XBMC. It doesn't matter if the dl is slow as just runs on my network.
This way no buffering problem & all the latest Films free. Dld the
full series of Game of Thrones & watching that at present.

Have a jailbroken ATV2 that doesn't get used plus a Rasberry Pi
that runs XBMC to experiment with. Although I do dl from other
sources at times, XBMC is a good addition to your viewing equipment IMHO.
