New to this site, but kindly pointed to it for help with Icecrypt
Could anyone advise how to FTP to and from S3500
I can access it from PC fine, but not sure which file I need to open to amend
been looking for a cccam file but cannot find it?
any help appreciated
Also found amending with remote difficult?

Thanks in advance

I've use Dreambox Control Center to FTP to my icecrypt 3500, files of interest:
var/keys/newcamd.list
var/etc/protect/cardclient.conf

Thanks Locky, really been struggling with this box, will try ftp again tonight
Trying to set up a box for a friend got an openbox S9 working ok!
Failed on a Technomate TM5302
Failed on Icecrypt S3500 so far
The linux based boxes are easy with ftp, looks like the files I need are in the var folder?
couldn't see that yesterday but will try again tonight
Regards & Thanks

click in the remote site box
open top file and you will see a file list
scroll down this list and you should see the var folder at the bottom

In Remote Site Box I have Root Folder
Opening this leads to: Bin Folder & Modules Folder
Opening either of these NO Var folder
Could it be that files not loaded correctly?
But I can see Xcam in my plugins through menu
Thanks for helping

Been looking for sometime, I think may have to reload plugins,

Although when I open the plugin files can't see a var folder there either does the S3500 create this folder?

dont know as not familiar that box but if you have been fiddling with the fw structure it might be a good idea to reload the fw and do a factory reset that way you should get back to the original fw configuration beyound that i dont know
