If you have a straight out of the box never used VU+ device (mine is a Uno) is it worth putting on the latest vuplus build from the vuplus team before putting on Blackhole, Openvix or whatever firmware?
Or will the last firmware flash totally overwrite anything else on the box?
The reason I ask is that the package size of the vuplus image is considerably greater than say the Openvix image so I wondered if this had additional upgrades for the Linux o/s and an image like Openvix only upgrades areas of the Limux o/s that it wants to?
