Channel information.

Hi,

I'm running Vix image on my Vu box, what's the easiest way to request 'channel information' whilst watching any particular channel ?

I'm assuming there is an easier way than going into the EPG. The obvious way would be to press to press 'information' on the remote however, this doesn't work !!

Any suggestions ?

what type of information are you looking for exactly, as all images will have a main system information page which normally has an 'About' and 'Service' and the service one will give you everything you need about the current channel you are watching

I suspect he means a quick button access to a synopsis of the programme being watched

a bit like you get in crossepg or coolepg , either by the now and next synopsis or a downloaded crossepg synopsis

to the OP, you usually find there are various default buttons , usually coloured buttons that do different jobs if you single press, double press , long press or press 2 different buttons , varying with images , so worth checking what all the default buttons do in your vix image

also check what quickbuttons you can assign to crossepg or coolepg if installed

With ViX you can set up a 2nd infobar in the Settings menu.

Once that is set up you just press OK twice to bring up a quick synopsis on the program currently being watched.

The other quick method with ViX is press the red button. Also brings up a synopsis of the current program.
