Hi there,
Never been on any type of forum before, so I don't know the correct protocol.
Been working in Satellite for over 20 years and now moved to a remote area with slow broadband, no mobile phone signals, no shop - at least all the natives speak some form of English!
Satellite will now become my main hobby. I have loads of decoders - Manhattan, Humax, Topfield, Fortec Star, Icecrypt 4000. - Latest edition the Icecrypt 1600 - brilliant so far - light, small, works off 12v (ideal for the vehicle).
I will start to look up upgrades etc from the forum, hoping to get BISS working on the 1600 (BISS on Icecrypt 4000 via plug-in from a friend in the US, but 4000 is too big and heavy for what I have in mind)
With time on my hands, hope to learn more about domestic sats and hope to be able to help others with ad-hoc feeds etc.
So far, looks like a good site.
