Strange problem!

I have a solo and recently lost all channels, I reloaded Catseye's list but to no avail, I have tried everything, the motor drives to the selected satellite but then nothing. I thought maybe the LNB had broken so tried an old visionet box, that worked fine so I now know the LNB isnt at fault, then I thought the tuner maybe knackered so have bought a new box but is exactly the same. I am not a newbie but this has got me baffled.....any ideas??

Have you checked the end of the cable where it goes into LNB? take off the F-plug and if cable on the end is gold copper colour its not that:
If its green blackish colour you have had water in the cable you will probably get away with cutting back an inch off the end of the cable.
This gives the same symptoms as the LNB not working.
Check the cables going into the motor as well.
