+1.
I have less than a month left on one box, and 4 on the other. I will probably get myself another one when the first expires.

Hmmm! Lee is showing 8 in stock could be run a on them, I love this little beauty but in five years time I could end up with a shelf full of the fookers, even so, its such a good value buy I might just bite the bullet for another year.

Why don't you just renew your subscription or look at what else the receiver is capable of?
When the 9000 HD year was over the receiver was still very useful, and a little reading regarding CCCam, and C Lines, proved very informative.
I have now moved on to a VU+ duo 2, bought from Lee, and find this capable of doing a lot more, than my Spiderbox 9000 HD, which I still use.

Hi micka,
Haven't seen anything about a renewal for the 6000, I do know about the other things you mention, but like you have done I need to get one of the VU series to tinker with, the hours of playing seem endless on those boxes. My dm500s is still doing its stuff for my mates but I would like to learn some oscam before that becomes old hat, something which on the dm I could never get working. In the meantime having got Mrs L used to handling the 6000 I don't want her to have to find her way around yet another box.

lol OK You got me on the first line? If we have been reading posts on this site and looking at certain web site then yes you can renew gift? or renew line or as this thread seems to be pondering on? Get another brand new box for £30 lol (presuming you were going to renew gift?)
I my self have been well impressed with the little fella and I will be thinking of what to do when it runs out? (maybe al get one for every room so it has someone to talk to ):respect-applause-00

It works much better on c/n lines than gift itself . No need to renew or buy a new one . Get some lines mate , or at least one . That will do .

I would have to say that this box is a budget box and a good entry into this hobby as it stands today? It does not give you full range of a sat receiver as in the old days but what it does provide is a first class bass line and will help the beginner learn the in's and outs of this hobby? I think the op was joking in a way but just in case it was not this Is my view. If you wish to have a sat receiver (scanner) Then get a second hand box that can hold and sort a lot of channels? (this will help you into the " what's best and what should I buy?" market) If you just want a box like you have? (does exactly what it say's on the tin) Then do you want another box for the house? If so get another one , saves money because it would have free gift? If you want and understand the moving of files and so on then get a big box (VU) but remember you will have to put out on a line? It's all to one's taste and budget?
AND IN THIS GAME IT MIGHT BE HERE TODAY AND GONE TOMORROW?!
(PS I am getting peed off that people keep bringing up the big boxes into the SPIDERBOX 6000hD TOPIC? (even if it was my self this time) Its supposed to be a stand alone box with it's own reviews and not (as I'm starting to feel) a get this and then get a ???? box? Forgive me if i am wrong but does any other Maker threads keep referring to this make of box?
Yes It is good to know how all the different boxes work but I feel your killing off this box before it get's going?):beatdeadhorse5:
:chillpill: Anyway that's what I was thinking. :chillpill:
:auto: am out'a here lol

@Sim7alb
Thanks for that advice however I would be losing out on that deal as the "6000" gives me what you said and more, unless you mean free lines which can be a little bit notorious for disappearing at the wrong time.
No I shall get another 6000 its a giveaway box in value terms especially with the support suprises from BD who promises there's more to come and for the input from members like roadrunner. And to continue my interest in hobby terms I shall treat myself to a "bigger box" (apologies to hianta,) to keep myself involved in what there is left of this hobby for we end users to tinker with.

Well dun? I would also like (when I get the cash together) to try out a big box but this just shows how good the little chap (sb 6000hd) has opened our eye and minds again? I was going to give up the hobby but now? I may even renew my motorised system and this is just because I came on here and asked one little question? What I got was a tiny little grafter who sometimes has brake downs but gets back up and will work its little socks of to try and keep up. It has some faults but If you looking to win the Grand Prix then you don't go out and buy a mini cooper?
So I say thank's for the advise I got and all the help on this site. ( list would be too long but just a few ;Satpimps, echelon, Roadrunner and gold wafer. Even Aldo was helpful)
