sly wifi app

regarding sly wifi android app

if I try and use my user id login on an S3 mini or nexus 7 from home the authentication fails

despite reading about this on their site and google search I cannot get a definite answer to the problem

Q:- Do I have to be in a hotspot to login and register each device ?

or should I be able to register it at home via the sly router ?

I can login to my sly account (user id) on both devices at home , I can also use sly go on both devices at home too

so I know the id is valid etc


just wondering if anyone has successfully used sly wifi for android and how they overcame these issues if they had any ?

finally found the answer, do not login with @sky dot com (remove from sly ID when logging in and registering the device)



When logging in to The Cloud using your Sky iD please ensure you do not include the ‘@sky.com’ when entering your username, as this will cause an error message to return.
