Hello to everyone,

I bought 4 months ago an HD6000 and was working properly, lately I had upgrade to latest version in order to work with IKS.

When i am trying to upgrade via USB (i made software reset and Wireless off and CCCam off etc...) it says SSU checking and then upgrade failure.

I flashed via Null Cable it is flashed ok. Then again when i try to upgrade to latest version (21/04/2014) via USB still says upgrade failure, it doesn't start flashing it stays at 0%. Meantime it flashes Channel Database 100% but not software upgrade.

Any support is appreciate to flash via RS232 cable or any other way the latest software, or any flash software as intermediate flash before flashing latest one, or any other support.

Thanks
Arsidi

The reason for you having problems patching the receiver is because it has to be via a USB Stick and NOT a Null Cable, please see the following info:

Download the latest patch from the link below and copy it to a USB stick.

https://www.satpimps.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?579-Firmware

Place USB stick into Spiderbox and go to Menu / System Settings / Update & Backup / Image Upgrade, scroll down and select if in a folder, if not then side arrow to select the patch file from the right hand screen, press ok and wait for the file to load, Spiderbox will reboot when complete.
Connect Network cable between Router and Spiderbox.

You can get the setup procedure from here:

try another download and un zip it then load and you will find a pre-set channel already in box without your fav's? make sure your channel list has not been made with back up all , or it will over ride the last update yo did... good luck
edit..
sorry aldo posted late .. man your good:respect-059:

Try another USB stick, or format the one you have, using the Spiderbox options. If this sin't the problem, and you've tried another USB stick, then try downloading the patch again, it might have become corrupted.

The Null Modem Cable does install the patch it is used for installing the Recovery Tool, The patches and channel list etc are installed using the USB Stick, it would appear that you are going to have start again from scratch, and install the recovery:

https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?164187-Recovery-instructions-for-HD6000

and a thread on how to use it:

https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?164187-Recovery-instructions-for-HD6000

Then you will be able to load the patch and channel list, if you have saved one.

thats what i like to see...guys trying help and guide someone with a problem...
then they cover possible reasons for the problem...the problem gets solved
and then the original poster of the said problem ...comes back...and confirms it was his usb stick corrupted
not the box...or the patch he had tried install
