now wont start
it starts then switches off after about 7 secs then restarts
just keeps repeating

Try with the LNB cable disconnected, if same do you have time to repatch it before it reboots, if not you will need to use the recover process.

Give me detailed informations what you did exactly.
I will follow the same procedure to reproduce your issue.
Did you use a channel list made by our channel editor,you deleted sats by receiver's menu or by channel editor, etc.

i deleted some sats that i wasnt using then tried to go back to astra 2b and it wouldnt move so i switch it off and resarted then it started to boot for seven or eight secs the switched off for about the same time and tried to start and it just keeps repeating

Hi cremac and welcome to the forum.
Since your new here It's always nice to provide any info that is asked and follow instructions then report back?

Could you try and provide what software you had loaded in the box before it crashed ( the date of the software or your best guess?)
and confirm If you were using the on-board editor or the one made for PC editing
Read the instructions on the recovery sticky's and follow to the letter. (you can try it your own way but please don't start posting "you can't do it" If you have not followed the procedure that is tried and tested?)
This will speed up all the help that you need . thank's..

11_11 is not the latest patch , its an old patch from nov 2013

the latest patch is 29 apr 2014 (yesterday)
