Hi den123 Long time no read lol I don't have a scooby but you could post what kind of amp and how your connecting? Might help someone to help you?
How are you connected to the amp, is it Optical, coax or phono cables?

I think the 6000HD only has SPDIF and HDMI outputs for sound with an option to choose between LPCM or RAW. Then its really down to the capabilities of your amp...
From my understanding the difference between LPCM and RAW is what device decodes the audio stream. I think if you set LPCM when outputting via HDMI then the Spiderbox itself decodes it, (which is best when hooking up to a TV) but if you set it to RAW when outputting it through HDMI then your Amp decodes it. The downside here is that I think it only allows Dolby Digitial 5.1 (not 7.1).
Output via SPDIF - set to LPCM the Amp will decode but doesn't support DTS. Set to RAW DTS is supported.
Think it's something like that. It's ages ago since I configured my amp and I've never linked it to my Spiderbox 6000.
If you have a multi media amp giving 5.1 etc then i would go for RAW. Raw is the preferred option, if you can't hear anything then switch to LPCM
Any you thought Satellite receivers were complicated lol
