a review says its not available dated 30th april.

The only glaring omission at the time of writing is the BBC iPlayer. Samsung assures us the iPlayer will become available, but can't specify an actual date at the moment.

That explains it then, thought i had messed something up during setup. I would have thought though that they would have sorted this out on their very latest tv,s.

Hi Manc,

What the telly like, does it
make the picture more
realistic.
Can you say its better to view
then a flat screen.

As for the UHD, does ANYONE transmit in UHD at present - to justify this high-tech product?

Not at the moment, everytime i have seen one in department stores they always seem to be playing a UHD rolling loop which makes them look fantastic but in standard HD when i compared it they did the same job as every other HD screen.

When Sky does finally get to show UHD it should look fantastic

The picture quality is awesome! at the moment netflix are streaming series 2 of "house of cards" in uhd and the picture is fantastic! they will start streaming more content in uhd soon i think.
The set upscales from hd as well so hd channels are quality also.

Cheers guys - yes I looked at one in the Doncaster Panasonic store showing a 'sample' and it was unbelievable - breathtaking, very much like SD to HD days, even mono to colour - but at WHAT a price too? lol!!

Another thing i forgot to mention is the upscaling of HD to 4K, which is spectacular! and SD upscales to near enough HD quality too.
