IPTV is it possible?

OK so some of us know how good this box is and I have to admit it's better at providing a stream that the sly backed box roco.
BUT?
Can it be made to use it's record function to cause a time laps for people that don't have fast broadband?
IF IT COULD PARTLY DOWNLOAD THE STREAM? IT WOULD BE THE NUMBER ONE - MUST HAVE BOX- :cup-006: :respect-059: :respect-applause-00

I don't have the box but i can see no reason why not
if it can play the stream i would think it can download it too
we have no problem doing this on enigma2 box's (http or rtmp)
but it may need a firmware update for you....

Thank's but since it is a small box (so to speak) I Will look forward to further updates. Do you know (without mentioning brands?) If this is possible with the big boxes? (cheers)
