Postcodes for Go Live 1005

Hi. Does anyone know how to upgrade the postcodes on a Go Live 1005? I understand that the file needs to be copied to the root of the device but I have not got a clue how to do it.

It's not possible to update postcodes on a GO1005 unless you purchase a new map from TomTom, as the postcodes are integrated with map updates.

Thanks xanadu. I was afraid that might be the case. I did purchase a new UK map last year but Tomtom do seem to be badly behind in updating the postcodes.
