Can i have more than one channel list in use on my hd6000 at once, or does each list uploaded replace the previous? sorry if this is a stupid question but I've only owned my spiderbox for one day :)

One list will overwrite the other.
I think there is a channel editor utility, you can use on your PC, which might allow you to add/remove channels, but remember to keep the edited channel list below the 6000's maximum capacity.

You would sort out your all channels under ..menu/edit channels and sort them into fav's this would give you different channel list's .. fav's are numbered and can be accessed, very easy so read up and enjoy?

go to ALL CHANNELS and go up to channel one , then go UP once more which takes you to the bottom of the list , say channel 4501 , so you have 4501 tv channels , then change to radio and do the same and see how many radio channels there are , add the two together and you have the total number of channels on the box

If you use latest patch there is an option that we are still working on it and we will improve it in next patch giving user opportunity to load 3 different channel lists of our choice.
1)Upgrade By Network
Database Upgrade (available motor channel list for download)
