Loading softcam key file

Hi, this probably sounds a bit goofy, but I cannot find any instruction on how to load a softcam key file? Is it the same process as loading a patch? or is it a bit different. I don't want to risk cocking up if I can help it.

make sure you have the latest firmware update.
