For the Intelsat 907 mux...
Go to post by ColdAsICE "icecrypt s1600c hd patched firmware".
Download the zip file onto comupter. Please thanks ColdAsICE for this update.
Open file and put the file s1600c_1.6.27.abs onto memory stick.
Put memory stick into s1600
go to "system" and "upgrade by USB"
Once upgrade has finished, TP scan with parameters
ALL
TV+RADIO
MANUAL SCAN
NIT = OFF
PIDSEARCH = B**
Once loaded,All channels that are currently transmitting will be shown. (tested at 10:00GMT today)
Sorry I can't help on the Diseqc problem

homecamd is used for re-sharing your line within your home network to other recievers.
Its not for external lines thats why it has a fixed port etc
The protocol you need will depend on the server.
If its a Cline then use CCCamd etc a Cline will start with a "C" you mentioned using a "n" so it sounds like you have a Nline so use Newcamd as the protocol not CCCamd.
As it has a Nline apperance it might be the more popular MGcamd which you can also try.

from my experience with icecrypt 3200 you only have to set diseqc to 1 for 28.2 and 2 for 907 and then scan each satellite and all channels form both appear in the order they have been scanned and installed,then you can organise the channels how you want in the menu,as i say i have done this successfully on icecrypy3200s but i'm sure the 1600 uses same menu structure.
