TM5402 HD Ver 1 - CAS Problem

Hi,
I tried to load a new patch to my receiver but it locked and would not allow me to back out. After waiting a long time I had no option but to switch off the receiver.
Since this happened I have reset the receiver, installed the Phantompatch 136p and the addon 02. My ccclines are still showing OK and everything seems to be OK except the CAS view on screen shows everything is OFF and the ccclines info does not seem to clear anything. The BISS file looks OK with many lines completed for each channel.
Can anyone please help, am I being stupid or do I have a problem. If so can I clear it.
Also can anyone please tell me the benefit of upgrading my version 1 TM to the latest version 3.

MK3 is faster in operation and at blind scanning but the MK1 is the enthusiasts favourite from the opinion on the forums. also MK3 made in PRC and MK1 in korea... if you really want a MK3 then save yourself £40 and get a F3/5 as its the same box(i know as i have both thanks to a guy off the forums, thanks again m8) regards mdt

Same problem now happening for me using 140p patch which have had installed since released. Going to cas stuff on 7e and 1w results in receiver locking up on all the relevant channels but strangely 39e ok. Put on original software and then patches 138p, 136p and 133p but still locking up. Also thought it may be a softcam problem but tried a few and it isnt. Anyone else having the same problem?

I am using 136P patch on my M1 or the very early ones and don't have any problems locking up etc. so not upgrading for the moment.
Only thing that annoys me is not being able to get the 7 day EPG that works great on my 6902 model.
Is it still on 11778 frequency guyz??

Think I'm right in saying EPG should be fine - espec if you wait up to 3 mins fred - sure manic01 will confirm this?

So I suggest fred reloads the whole lot as follows and tries again!

As follows:-

First check all Settings-(Suggest write down) e.g. Sats set up (USALS etc), Latitude/Longtitude, etc etc then,
1) Back up latest Channel List to USB memory stick
2) Factory Reset
3) Load original firmware - latest M1 versiion 140 24/3/14 - I can post here if required!
4) Factory Reset again
5) Power off at back with toggle switch for 60 sec - then power on again
6) Load latest M1 patch 142P 9/7/14
7) Factory Reset
8) Power off again for 60 secs
9) Reload backed up Channel List from 1) above
10) Check all setting are ok as before 1) above

See how it goes fred mate!!
