I had trouble making one work recently, sometimes windows finds the correct driver a lot of times it does not, this worked for me and a lot of other peeps if you read the many thank you posts.

Hi TonyO
thanks for your response . this was the driver l was using however l have loaded the driver from your URL and just the same
Just to understand the process when you configure the port i.e. com16: 115200,8,m,1 for the incecypt editor at what point on the 1600 do you go to, to connect to PC. Menu> usb???
I have found that prior to loading the box (before the ICECRYPT logo) it will communicate but no data is downloaded although it has tested the port and proceeded to down load information which is blank. there has to be a way of loading this in "standby" when the software is loaded

I am using windows 7. I believe the driver / usb to to rs232 is working, it just a matter of finding what stage the 1600hd has to be in,. On another box where l use a rs232 null cable it has to be "offline / standby" for the data to transfer to the editor /pc
