If he were to renew the gift package, then he would not have to resort to using sea lions, and he could still use it where it is situated now, and it may be cheaper in the long run.

after trying a big box I can safely say that this little power horse is closer to a sat- receiver than the big box! If you want a multi media box then get a good computer and a feed through to the TV?
So after saying that read up find the site and just renew?
If you have fast broadband then ,? Why are you messing with a "SAT FORUM?" (you are looking to stream not scan)
Go block up the network like many thousands of people taken the novelty of, not using a recorder, sorry, view on demand and so forth? Go buy a laptop or computer and watch the knew films and so forth.
If you like the box and like the idea of a sat receiver then renew? simple's :cheers2:

AND IF SOMEONE IS READING THIS FROM THE BIG BOXES THEN? FIX FOR UK AND STOP ALL THE STUPID HEADINGS? (film for every sat, and all the rest? I cant be bothered with that shXt ( the scan should be all films from all sats and the rest , not every sat?) I scan ,make my own list and Its sorted! i was reading on here for a month or so about this one before i bought this one,
Have had this one Nearly 2 weeks
A Good receiver with out the gift
it seamed pretty hard programing the sats, i thought it was easier using spider 9000

G-G, you are either a very new newbie or you are trying to wind us all up,take the R C U into your hand,do a forensic on your 6000 and find out what's at your finger tips,the gift is an add on only nothing more, ask of us how many bought this box for the gift and felt it was a must have and you will have an answer to you're conundrum,the biggest thing about this Stb is what it give's you and particularly what all involved this forum can teach you about this Stb by just asking.

Think before you post, the HD6000 is a great receiver and your post is something of a kick in the teeth to the hard working software team. I suggest you LEARN how to use it before posting in such a negative way.

You have to buy lines and you can watch always free channels through c lines!

You can renew IKS.
It is very cheap but you can also keep it without anything extra.
It is your choice.

Also it is only slightly dearer to buy a new receiver than it is to pay for the IKS patch/update.

no, they come with the free to air firmware official firmware, no gift

its after you patch the box and then register the "gift" by turning it on that you get an expiry date and the "gift" works
its always been this way with spiderboxes right from their very beginning

Don't know for you but I have provlem with iks channelsit always freezes I watch with another provider with cline!
