Problem scanning for channels

Hi folks,

I have been trying to scan for a channel, I go to menu and select manual scan followed by--
frequency
symbol rate
poparization
modulation
pilots
FEC
search option which i put in----- one tp
start search------- which i save.

showing s=82% and Q--98%

A mate with same spiderbox hd 9000 as tried the same scan and is able to down load the required channels, any suggestions to what I might be doing wrong would be appreciated ?

You aren't doing anything wrong, from what little information you've provided, but without more details, epsecially what channel you're trying to scan in, and the channel details you're entering, then it's difficult to spot a problem.

also bear in mind these boxes can handle a larger channel list than a 6000 but maybe your list is full ?

search option which i put in----- one tp
start search------- which i save.

Why would you save start search, surely that option should be Yes, then when search is complete, then you save it, if you are happy with what you have found.
