red light flashing on and off

hi there, could somebody pkease help,just bought new box 6000hd it wont switch back on, red light in window keeps flashing on and off, switched it off all night but just the same,gratefull fir some help:mad:

I had the same problem before you try the recovery tool . Check your LNB connections ('F' Connectors) and LNB. Mine was just the f connection not quite right.

hi everyone, i posted earlier about my box red light flashing on and off, im new to this box, as i only used the 9000, with the 6000 which i now own there are a lot more features including the net, when it was working on list there was remove usb,i tried to download the software on to it but couldnt, thats just one issue, the other maine point where exactly do you connect to pc is there a guide to show you where the leads go to for me to get it back working thank you.

You need a null modem cable, this connects to the COM port, also known as Serial, on your PC and on your receiver. A lot of newer PC's no longer have dedicated Com ports so you might need a USB to Serial adapter, but these do not always work.
