I've noticed that on BBC1HD, BBC2HD, and BBC3HD every so often the picture speeds up for what must be just a millisecond, but it' very noticeable when watching football for example.
Has anyone else noticed this? or is it just my box/set up?

IŽve noiced that too on several HD (FTA) progams.

Sometimes the sound isnŽt in sync with the picture as well
and youŽll have to reboot to fix that problem...

Did you notice the problem using earlier software?
Is it only the BBC HD channels that are causing this problem?
Personally I don't watch any of these channels, so can't confirm, or deny, if my VU+ Duo, or Spiderbox 9000, have any similar problems.
Hopefully others might be able to rule out any problem with the BBC channels themselves and narrow the problem down.

Well as Mickha say's he does not watch any of the channels and going by his reported boxes he doesn't have the SPIDERBOX 6000HD , so maybe we should all listen to his post???????? :20:
It has been reported before and I am sorry I can't refer to the posting but It can be due to the weather conditions and even the broadcaster that causes these misaligned sound and video streams? Usually just changing channel and back is a quick cure or if you can be bothered let it run and you will see it glitch and try to re-sink the stream. HD might be good but It's still digital and has Its own problems over analogue.
To sum up, Not the spiders fault as far as I'm concerned but you could try tweak your dish and cables to get max signals to put your mind to rest?

I do have max signal, and have never had this happen with other receivers , so I would suggest it IS a SB6000 problem. Not a big one, but hopefully fixable.

Yes I experience this, but on all channels (HD&SD, Sky & FTA). It tends to happen to me when I leave the Spiderbox on for a few days, thought it is intermittent. The only thing that shifts it is a hard reboot by removing the power for 30 secs. I'm on latest firmware.

Heat is a big drawback with HD signals, in the recent hot weather in the south of England my spider 9K has become a bit tempremental, its getting very hot as I use mostly HD channels.

Several years ago I was using a fortech star receiver with a cam for conax, it glitched a lot with HD and I cut a two inch whole in the lid and fixed a computer fan directly above the cam with an on/off switch and problem over.

As soon as the hot weather went I could turn the fan off.
