Auto bouquet maker

Evening,

When doing a full scan using Auto bouquet maker is there a way I can have the HD channels in the HD folder only and not in the other folders too ?

I'm running Vix 3.0.

Change your Sky England Area from HD to SD (EG: Tyne HD to Tyne SD)

Menu> Setup> Service Searching> AutoBouquetsMaker> Providers>

Then run ABM again

Also try updating your image to a newer one as you are running a very old version of ABM if you are on ViX 3.0, there have been many updates and improvements to ABM in the months since ViX 3.0 was discontinued. if permitted I can upload a full changelog for ABM showing what has changed ??.

quick query please

if using the latest vix apollo 097 , and have used the aurobouquets plugin for 28e, and the openwebif is on port 00080 , why does dreamboxedit give errors when trying to import the bouquet settings ?

is using dbedit not allowed in vix when using the autobouquets plugin ?

Are you just getting a duplicate bouquet error

tools options advanced tick "Allow duplicate entries in (user) bouquet "

tried that now

still the same

just says "error retrieving file from dreambox" see log for details

cant see anything obvious in the log

dbedit does the same retrieval ok from my dm800 which isnt using vix , so afaik its only with vix , not bh and not edg etc

Sounds Like your profile isn't correct

ip address ?
username ?
password ?
ftp port ?
file paths ?

the ip address , name and password all seem correct, and flashfxp works ok using the same info

I checked the paths and its etc/enigma2 which seems correct , and some of the files transfer to the lappy, but it does not resolve itself into a file list in dbedit

I think its to do with this autobouquets thing being protected myself - just doesnt make sense

ip check says ok

name and password says ok

dreamset seems to access them if I try it using the same details

dreamboxEDIT 6.0 Retrieves all ok from my box

All i could suggest is update your password Using Telnet Command "passwd"

tried this with new passwords via telnet, but same errors using dreamboxedit v6.0.1.1

therefore I must conclude its to do with that other file you mentioned

I think mine says satellites.xml so maybe it needs changing or something ?

got me stumped as I dont have issues on my other linux boxes at all

not got that file afaik and no idea what its for or how toi change it , cant see it in autobouquets anyway , and mine is set to granada for the north west but has england in the setup section

or maybe the autobouquets files are corrupt ? (vix image and updates are all up to date) as it crashes part way through when I use it

I assumed it was a corrupt channel list on the box as the bouquet mover wasnt working properly either (menu when in bouquets) (or a corrupt file or files)

so I loaded in the latest catseye list and that worked fine

I deleted the autobouquets plugin, then readded it after reboot

seems to work ok and dbedit is also retrieving and saving the channel list ok

so I suspect a corrupt channel list on the box , or corrupt files

thanks, I did look in there earlier but could not see it in that plugin, so I removed it and then rebooted and reinstalled it, but still cannot find it , nor can I find it in any plugin downloads either from their site

but I appear to have solved the dbedit problem since I loaded the catseyes motorised list into the box

we live and learn , just couldnt see what this problem was , but have learned a lot more due to it

just removed it again, rebooted and reinstalled it and now that ZZL OPTION is there , lol
