is there a way of getting the new s y sports 5 channel want to know if you just do a scan or what way do u get it thanks for any help

it should work already ?
showing promo hype test pictures for about a month or more already .
not sure if it will continue to work or if cards needs to go in sky box to activate via Red Button ??
has anyone tried this yet ?
does card still operate as normal in a spiderbox or other linux reciever after channel was activated ??
nobody seems to know or care at this stage since there is no discussion about this as yet .
hopefully someone will shed some light on the situation ?

During August 2014, some services on Sky will be changing channel numbers. This affects both free and pay TV channels.
The move comes as more sections of the Sky channel guide or Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) begin to overspill and as new services prepare to launch.
Viewers are not required to do anything with their Sky box - but may need to remember some new channel numbers.
On 12th August 2014, changes commence in the sports section following the rebrand of Sky Sports News to Sky Sports News HQ

hi, couldnt agree with you more,if more people new about a differant alternative to them they wouldnt be charging such ridiculous charges,
