Hi guys is it possible to receive channels in dvbs2

S2 = HD (High definition)
S1 = SD (Standard definition)

Thanks for that. There should be no bother then but when I try to scan something manually with a freq with dvbs2 it comes up no signal even though I know there is. Strange maybe a full scan?

On my vuduo, if I do a manual scan by inputting the details manually, I have to choose DVBS or DVBS2.

A manual scan with the correct frequency etc will not find an S2 transmission unless I specify S2.

Perhaps the same for your box?

Just to make it clear.....
If I am doing a manual scan for a complete satellite, all transmissions will be found regardless whether they are DVBS or DVBS2.

If manually scanning for one frequency, then you need to input DVBS or DVBS2.

Bare in mind this is for a vuduo, so your box may be different. I have never used one.
