Hi friends,
I recently bought the HD6000 and patched it with HD_2014_07_24.zip. The upgrade was successful, I scanned all the satellite information and I added the newcamd server into Menu > Other > Network too. The box is working and I can see BT Sport 1/2 HD but I can't view any of the Sky channels (and a load like Discovery, History etc). I get the "Scrambled Service" message on screen.
Is there anything else I need to do software wise to resolve this?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Jay.

Hi mate, can you elaborate further?
I think I have it sorted. Going to implement this: https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?163203-Spiderbox-Smartbox-HD6000-Patch-30-08-2013

no idea if this will fix your trouble but definitely patch with the aug 2013 first, factory reset and then follow it with the latest 2014 patch and again factory reset
then try again
if it still fails contact the "enn lion" supplier

I did turn off wireless (switched to wired) but didn't touch ccam. I'm still a noob so how do I do that?
It's kinda of pointless without the HD isn't it?

I gotta say this forum is amazing. You guys are on point unlike some of the other ****ty ones out there. No responses to threads that were posted 2 years ago!

SD is still available, but they turned off the HD months ago
see here https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?166912-Look-like-Sky-are-killing-the-HD-in-CS
as for changing the settings, the instructions in the patches tell you to turn off the IKS and cccam or newcamd and wifi before patching
all done through the networking menu, so I suspect you didnt follow those instructions before patching etc
best to start again and do so this time
but only check the sly SD channels to see if your enn lion is working ok , not the HD channels
if you had mentioned the sly HD channels in your first posts, we would have realised and told you earlier , but you didnt specify

Menu- Network-Server SetUp- Press ok on your line-Move > on Type until you see "Off"- down to the bottom and press OK to apply- Done

Yeah you're right. I'm still working all this out myself. I've had the box for less than a week.

If at all possible your always better hardwired to your box not wifi, the IPTV function needs a lot of your speed to stream without glitches. Homeplugs are great things for this rather than wifi but it depends what money your willing to spend.
Good Luck

The Wi-Fi isn't a problem. It's unscrambling the feed pretty quickly. My problem was the lack of HD channels which is a widespread issue by the looks of it.

This is really annoying. I cannot connect to the Wi-Fi now! The box detects the SSID but it will not connect.
I think I need to start back from the beginning and restore the original backup. Grrrrrrrrrr

Unplug box from main for a while and then plug it again.
Also restart your router.

I generally find even if wifi has a good signal the latency is terrible for time critical tasks such as ccam.
What sort of response time do you get on the right side next to your ccam provider when you press info? should be around 200-300ms anything higher it will glitch like mad. Tried some providers on 700ms they cut out every 10 seconds.

I fixed the problem using the latest update patch and the Edimax N300 Wi-Fi extender. Also switched from metal stand to Oak wood and the stream is perfect (not sure if the Oak cabinet has helped but it's certainly a coincidence).
